Refund Policy
We want you to feel confident paying us. Here's exactly when refunds apply.
Quick summary: If our system fails to deliver your documents, we refund the credit. If a generation succeeds but you're unhappy with the AI's output, we'll regenerate at no extra cost. We don't refund used credits where the documents were successfully delivered to your account.
1. When you are eligible for a refund
You can request a credit refund (returned as account credit, or as M-Pesa reversal where applicable) in these situations:
- System failure: The generation crashed or returned empty/corrupt files due to a fault on our side.
- Payment took, no credits added: Your M-Pesa shows the payment went through, but credits were never added to your account.
- Duplicate charge: You were charged twice for the same plan due to a system error.
- Wrong amount charged: The amount taken differs from the plan price you selected.
2. When a refund does not apply
- Successful generation, output reviewed: Once you've downloaded a generated document set, the credit is considered consumed. Instead, we offer free regeneration (see below).
- You changed your mind: Credits never expire, so we don't refund unused credits simply because you no longer need them. They stay in your account for future use.
- Misuse of the platform: Refunds are not granted for accounts terminated due to violations of our Terms of Service.
- External AI variability: The AI sometimes phrases things differently than you'd prefer. This is normal and editable in Word — it is not a refund-eligible failure.
3. Free regeneration (when output is unsatisfactory)
If your generated documents have genuine quality issues — wrong learning outcomes detected, malformed structure, missing sections — we will regenerate them at no extra cost. This is usually faster and more useful than a refund.
To request a regeneration, email inteligentcms@gmail.com with:
- Your registered email,
- The unit name or generation timestamp,
- What specifically is wrong with the output,
- Your original curriculum file (re-attached, if you can).
4. How to request a refund
Email inteligentcms@gmail.com within 14 days of the transaction. Include:
- Your registered email,
- M-Pesa transaction code,
- Date and amount of the transaction,
- Reason for the refund request.
We respond within 3 working days. Approved refunds are processed within 7 working days.
5. How refunds are issued
- Account credit (preferred): The refunded amount is added back to your account as credits. Fast and free.
- M-Pesa reversal: Where eligible, we initiate an M-Pesa reversal to the phone number used for the original payment. Note: M-Pesa reversals are subject to Safaricom's rules and may not always be possible (e.g., after a certain time window).
6. Disputes
If we cannot agree on a refund, you may escalate the matter to the Communications Authority of Kenya or the relevant consumer protection body. We commit to engaging in good faith resolution before any escalation.
